We see examples of faith in action all around us, from Hub Leads, to volunteers, to employees. Inspired by James 2:17: “In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead,” we are reminded that our faith must be demonstrated through tangible acts of love and service.
At River of Life Mission, faith is the foundation of everything we do. One of the most inspiring examples of faith in action is the story of Angela, one of our cherished team members.
Angela first came to us as a guest, seeking help and hope. Through our programs and the life-changing power of the gospel, Angela found the support she needed to transform her life. Her faith, supported by our loving community, propelled her into action.
Today, Angela works alongside us, helping to prepare the high-quality meals that are distributed island-wide through our Hub Spots. Her journey from guest to employee is a testament to the power of faith when it is put into action.
