CELEBRATE SOCKTOBER – Show Us Your Socks!
Each night in the United States, an estimated 600,000 people live on the streets. This October, join with people nationwide to show that even a small act of love, such as donating a pair of socks, can make a big difference in the lives of our neighbors who are homeless.
SOCKS + MORE
Please consider hosting a drive alone or with others. The more, the merrier. New or gently used socks are both welcome. Your drive could also include other much needed items like slippers, shampoo, and conditioner. Or perhaps your family and friends would like to make a joint monetary donation.
INSPIRE YOUR ‘OHANA
Show your socks! Post pictures wearing your favorite or craziest pair of socks on social media. Don’t forget to post pics on River of Life Mission’s Facebook page too! Group shots would be terrific. You’ll raise awareness and spur others to join the drive or create one of their own! Let’s have some fun! Sock it to us!
