PROJECT HERO
Welcome to Project Hero, where you get to experience what it means to be a true hero for Christ! During your time here you will be working with River of Life Mission on the streets of Chinatown helping the homeless population of Oahu. You will also be partnering with several churches and Christian organizations around the island to further the Gospel. This would include rehab centers, church-led programs, and at-risk youth outreach. Project Hero’s ultimate goal is to ignite in you a passion for serving Christ through hands-on-training and a variety of outreach opportunities. While the mission of Project Hero is for you to serve, you will also get to experience the adventurous side of Hawaii, with opportunities to go surfing, hiking, snorkeling, and enjoy the amazing beauty and culture Hawaii has to offer.
OUR MISSION
Our mission here at Project Hero is to equip the next generation of leaders with practical tools and knowledge of what day to day ministry looks like. Our desire is to help you grow in your walk in Christ through intentional discipleship and leadership training.
WHO CAN JOIN?
We are looking for young adults 18 or older that are ready to take the next step to learn and grow and become a true Hero for Christ.
WHAT WILL THE COST BE?
Total cost required for Project Hero is $800 which covers room and board, gas, and activities. Airfare and food not included. We recommend you to bring at least $500-$1000 for food and souvenirs.
HOW LONG?
One month internships with opportunities to extend month to month.
