The Heart of the Mission |

Hundreds of men, women and teens on Oahu
serve as volunteers at River of Life
Mission. Total volunteer hours exceeded
thirty thousand yearly. Volunteers
play an important role in the Ministry of
River of Life Mission. |
|
Many volunteers are filling a requirement of
their school or university. Some are part of
a civic organization. Others have been
ordered by the court system to serve in the
community service program.
Most volunteers come simply to share Aloha.
Many are motivated by a desire to help the
homeless or less fortunate. |

did for one of the least of these . . .” |

They come with grateful hearts and an
awareness that, “there but for the grace
of God, go I.”
Other volunteers are responding to the words
of Jesus, "to whom much is given, much is
required." They see volunteering as a
responsibility.
Volunteers are a reflection of the Lord’s
provision for the poor and needy members of
the community.

The Mission needs volunteers M-F anytime
between 7:00am and 6:00pm. Come in for an
hour or for a whole morning or afternoon
